Lead Safely.
Lead with Voice.
Lead with Restoration.
Practical, science-grounded consulting and training for leaders in healthcare, research, education, and mission-driven organizations.
Three Pillars of Trauma-Informed Leadership
Rooted in neuroscience, attachment theory, and decades of research on how human beings actually function under pressure.
Lead Safely
Safety is not a feeling — it is a neurological state. Leaders either create it or they don't. Every team interaction either widens or narrows the window of tolerance for the people you lead.
Lead with Voice
Dignity and autonomy are neurological needs, not perks. When people have no voice and no meaningful choice, they stop functioning well — not from attitude, but from neurobiology.
Lead with Restoration
Accountability and healing are not opposites. The most effective leaders know how to hold both — correcting course without shame, rebuilding trust without abandoning standards.
This work comes from the inside.
As a doctoral-level leader in pediatric healthcare research, I have spent more than a decade in the exact environments this work addresses — high-stakes, mission-driven, and chronically under-resourced.
I have sat in both chairs: the leader trying to do right by her team, and the professional trying to survive under a leader who did not know how to do that. Both experiences shaped this work.
I also bring this framework globally, teaching trauma-informed care to educators in Rwanda who serve children from the hardest of circumstances. The science is universal. The application is always human.
